Video game developer moves into Exchange Flags
April 25, 2024Wushu Studios has signed a 15-year lease on 13,300 sq ft at Ashtrom Properties’ Exchange Flags.
Wushu Studios was founded in 2017 and has more than 150 employees. It is one of many video game developers in Liverpool. Others include Avalanche Studios, Lucid Games, and Sony-owned Firesprite.
Alan McDermott, studio head at Wushu Studios, said that Liverpool is the ideal place for companies like his.
“Liverpool serves as the perfect backdrop for technology and creativity, making Walker House with its central location the ideal setting and a long-term home for our next chapter,” he said.
“This move is not just about the physical space, it’s also what it represents – our commitment to everyone at Wushu and the importance of creating a positive work environment. We’re eager to embrace this change and look forward to what is next”.
Worthington Owen represented Ashtrom Properties who bought Exchange Flags from Shelborn Asset Management.
