CASTLEFORGE ANNOUNCE REFURBISHMENT PLANS FOR EDWARD PAVILION

March 14, 2018

Castleforge Partners have announced that they will be refurbishing Edward Pavilion to provide circa
70,000 sq. ft. of Grade A workspace for occupation in late 2018 following their purchase of the
building in December.
The refurbishment will be sympathetic to the building’s Grade 1 listed status to create a truly unique
working environment at Liverpool’s Albert Dock. The building will also host a stylish co-working
space with amenities including café/lounge, meeting rooms, private phone booths and Wi-Fi
available to all tenants.

Rachael Pittaway from Castleforge Partners commented:-
We are delighted to have secured Edward Pavilion and will be delivering a scheme that makes the
most of the building’s beautiful original features and emphasises its industrial origins. In addition,
the space will be specified to a high standard including air-conditioning and raised floors, which we
are hoping will appeal to creative and corporate occupiers.

Mark Worthington of retained agents Worthington Owen commented:-
Edward Pavilion will offer a very exciting new product for Liverpool within a world-class location
which we feel will be attractive to a broad range of occupiers seeking forward thinking space. The
delivery of this scheme is also timely given the availability of space in the city centre is at its lowest
level for 20 years; there is currently only 600,000 sq. ft. of vacant space when there was 2.5 million
sq. ft. available just 3 years ago.
