Stanleybet new office acquired by Worthington Owen

August 1, 2023

The betting company is moving into a 5,300 sq ft office at Bruntwood Works’ The Plaza.

Stanleybet Group is taking space on the 14th floor of the Old Hall Street building which will be home to around 100 of the company’s 3,000 staff.

As well as betting services, Stanleybet also develops gaming software for a range of commercial customers through its Magellan Robotech subsidiary.

Tom Green, chief financial officer at Stanleybet Group, said “The location – close to the city centre, with train stations and car parks nearby – all the facilities within the building, and an inspiring view above the River Mersey from our desks made The Plaza an easy choice for the group when we decided to relocate our headquarters”.

Bruntwood Works has redeveloped The Plaza in recent years as part of its £200m Pioneer programme, which aims to create workspaces for the future.

The £3.7m investment at The Plaza includes a reimagined hospitality-led ground floor space, improved fitness amenities, and study spaces.
