100% occupancy achieved at Yorkshire House
December 5, 2017Worthington Owen agreed the sale of the former bank building to Millfield Estates back in May 2016 and were subsequently retained as letting agent. We then provided advice to the new owners who embarked on a major upgrade programme, investing in the building’s common areas and vacant suites. The investment has paid off with the property now fully let following this deal for the 3,283 sq ft third floor suite.
Andrew Owen, Director of Worthington Owen commented “It is wonderful to see that the investment from Millfield Estates has borne fruit and lead to the letting of the entire 3rd floor to such a reputable company as Flying Colours. This new lease means the building is now fully let – the first time this has been achieved since Yorkshire House was originally refurbished back in 2001. It is great news for all.”
Regarded as one of the fastest growing innovators in wealth management in the UK, Flying Colours has expanded dramatically over the last few years, with advisors already working in locations including Ascot, Lincoln and Milton Keynes before adding the Liverpool office this month.
Paul Dobson, property director for Millfield Estates, commented “Since acquiring Yorkshire House, our priority has been to deliver high quality office space that caters to the specific needs of our tenants. Every organisation is unique and we pride ourselves on being a flexible landlord that will make every effort to accommodate their requirements wherever possible. We believe we have a winning formula and we are pleased that our investment has resulted in Yorkshire House achieving fully let status. We welcome Flying Colours and wish them great success in their new venture.
